Valley Tire Limited has two locations, one in Kentville and the other in Bridgewater. The Kentville location dates back to 1921 and is one of the oldest tire retailers in Canada. The Quigley family purchased the tire dealership in 1974. Twenty years later, Valley Tire expanded to Bridgewater. Today, Valley Tire is part of the Alliance Tire Professionals network.

Valley Tire sells tires to both retail and wholesale customers and has been registered with the RRFB Nova Scotia Used Tire Management Program since the beginning of the program in 1998.

With 900 tire retailers in the province it is difficult to choose a winner for this category. Valley Tire keeps excellent records and always remits environmental fees on a timely basis. Valley Tire’s customer service and accuracy in reporting is an example for all tire retailers throughout Nova Scotia.

Steve Quigley, owner of Valley Tire, accepted the RRFB Nova Scotia Mobius Environmental Award for Tire Retailer of the Year.
