Greenwood ENVIRO-DEPOT^TM operates in the thriving Kingston-Greenwood and area. With plenty of parking and clean sorting areas, it is a user-friendly depot that that interacts with the community through education and charity programs.

Owner Licia Wack runs the Depot with a passion and dedication that has set an example for other depots across the province. Through her leadership, Greenwood ENVIRO-DEPOT^TM provides community education by offering tours to local groups such as Beavers, Cubs and Brownie's. In addition, they provide Recycling Education Packages to new residents and for in-coming base personnel stationed at the local Canadian Forces Base - CFB Greenwood.

The depot is also a model for using recycled materials in construction and building improvements are ongoing. When building their new premises, the business took recycling to a new level. Over ninety per cent of the materials used in the construction of this 3000 foot square depot are recycled. The depot has a reused toilet, windows, doors, light fixtures, wood and even the parking lot is made from old runway materials.

Rick Ramsay, Chair of RRFB Nova Scotia, and Bill Ring, CEO of RRFB Nova Scotia, presented the Mobius Environmental Award for ENVIRO-DEPOT^TM of the Year to Licia Wack, owner of the Greenwood ENVIRO-DEPOT^TM.
