10th Annual Mobius Environmental Awards
On April 16th, RRFB Nova Scotia honoured environmentally-minded businesses, organizations and individuals at an awards luncheon held in conjunction with the Canadian Waste-Resource Symposium. Presented by the Honourable Bill Dooks, Minister of Tourism, the Mobius Environmental Awards were created a decade ago to honour Nova Scotians who excel in the field of waste diversion.
The awards featured keynote speaker Sheila Watt-Cloutier, an internationally reknowned human-activist, who gave an enlightening presentation on the effects of global climate change on the Arctic, and the Inuit peoples' "Right to be Cold." Please follow this link for Sheila Watt-Cloutier's biography.
