Education & Awareness
Since 1996, the development of education and awareness programs continues to be one of RRFB Nova Scotia’s core mandates.
As the agency responsible for the promotion of solid waste reduction in the province, RRFB Nova Scotia is continuously creating programs that can help achieve the province’s goal of reducing waste on average to 300 kg per person per year by 2015.
As part of this commitment, we constantly work with our municipal and provincial partners to develop the tools necessary to promote the reducing, reusing, recycling, recovering and composting of waste materials.
Whether you are at home, work or in school, RRFB Nova Scotia has information to help you reduce, reuse, recycle and compost.
