The Directory of Solid Waste, Reuse, Recycling and Composting Contacts in Nova Scotia has been compiled by the Resource Recovery Fund Board (RRFB) and the Nova Scotia Department of the Environment and Labour. The Directory was compiled to assist Nova Scotia businesses, institutions and individuals with identifying reuse, recycling, composting, and disposal opportunities in the province. The Directory provides a comprehensive list of haulers, recyclers, equipment suppliers, and other waste-resource related contacts. The directory's contacts are organized into several categories (see Category Info). Within each category, contacts are arranged according to the Region within which they are located. Additional contact information has been provided in some cases. Please note that there is some overlap in the categories and therefore several contacts are listed in more than one category. Wherever possible, attempts have been made to include primarily Nova Scotia contacts. Where few or none existed, contacts from outside the province have been listed. Due to the constantly changing nature of the business, contact information in this directory may change from time to time. Every attempt will be made to keep the information as current as possible through periodic updates. While this directory aims to be as comprehensive as possible, some contacts may have been overlooked.
