Examples of funded projects:

Moulding Warehouse - Waste MDF to Pellets
Moulding Warehouse Limited is a family operated business specialized in custom mouldings. Using VAM funding, Moulding Warehouse purchased a wood pellet machine to convert their Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) waste wood into a valuable product. The project resulted in the diversion of 4 tonnes of waste wood.

Truro Sanitation Ltd.
In addition to the R&D project, Truro Sanitation also accessed VAM funding to acquire the machinery required to process the waste glass. It’s estimated that waste glass – or cullet – could replace up to 15 per cent of the aggregates in ready-mix concrete and even more in concrete blocks. Secondary markets for waste glass include roadbed aggregate, specialty asphalt and a sand-blasting abrasive.
